A sun dial carved in oak, to be placed on the wall of an historic watermill.
The design brief was to create a sun dial with a theme relevant to its location. The back board is carved to represent the surface of a pool, with the hours radiating across the surface of the water. Below which are some of the water life to be found in the mill stream. The gnomon is in the form of a kingfisher diving into the water.
