Restoration
included repairs to carving, re-painting, applying gesso and gilding.

Neptune
was unfortunately to far gone to restore, but we carved a faithful
copy, which can now be seen beside the Thames on the
lawn of the Upper Thames sailing club, Bourne End, England. Click

Lind Figurehead To keep the original figure un-restored it underwent a process of computer scanning and C.N.C. cutting to produce a second figure, which I then re-carved completing damaged and missing sections. Pictures are right and below. |
